To start, let's focus on your journey from darkness to light. Could you share a bit about navigating your personal trauma, depression, and the challenges with narcissistic abuse?

Amanda:

Absolutely. Many believe we should always lean towards positivity and joy and move away from negativity. While that often holds true, life isn't always clear cut. There were times when I felt cornered and had to make terrifying decisions. But I was driven by a need for change. For example, after leaving my abusive marriage, I realized the reasons behind my tolerance for such a relationship. There were moments of clarity, like when I suddenly recognized that I chose to stay because of various fears. As I moved forward, I realized life isn't just about "love and light". It's about navigating the complexities of the real world. Over the years, even in the darkest moments, my deep faith and spirituality anchored me.

Erica:

Thank you for sharing that. It's important to highlight that healing isn't just about focusing on the positive. Life is a process, and even after a major breakthrough, there can still be challenges.

Amanda:

Exactly. Problems are opportunities for growth. It's about seeing situations from multiple angles, understanding the nuances, and realizing that all our experiences, even the conflicting ones, shape us. I've had instances where I've reacted negatively, but the key is understanding the underlying reasons and using them for personal growth.

Erica:

Your approach emphasizes that by facing these problems head-on, we can tap into a more profound sense of self. Can you elaborate more on how you've incorporated various healing modalities into your practice?

Amanda:

Certainly. Every client's journey is unique. First, I seek to understand their desires. Often, they know what they don't want, but it's crucial to shift that focus to what they do want. Then, using my toolkit of modalities and intuition, I work with them to clear blockages, achieve harmony, and align with their goals.

Erica:

Your methodology is empowering. It's about helping individuals discover their answers. Looking back, what advice would you offer your younger self?

Amanda:

I'd tell her to trust her intuition. To not only hear it but to listen, trust, and act on it. Everyone has that inner voice, and it's crucial to trust that guidance.
